Room clean, but not enough privacy with the thin curtains. Staff at the front desk super helpful when we needed info. If you're okay with basic accommodations, it's decent for the price.

Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds.
The overall appearance feels outdated and similar to a student dormitory. Some furnishings are damaged, and the restrooms have cleanliness issues, including unpleasant odors. Limited privacy due to sheer curtains and a distracting bookcase near the bed can detract from the experience.

We enjoyed the spacious triple rooms with lovely views from both floors. The flexible parking was a lifesaver because we arrived with luggage. Highly recommend asking for a room on the second floor for easier access if you have heavy bags!

good location for northeast iceland excursions. ... we changed plans and stayed @ a # of other edda hotels. they offer a free breakfast on your 3rd night and a free stay on the 5th. ... very friendly, helpful staff(s) and consistently nice, clean, and comfortable hotels. highly recommended.

The Mediterranean food at nearby Skalinn Diner was a flavor explosion-definitely worth a detour! Our triple room had fine views that blew us away.
The overhead lights in our rooms were a bit wonky. Dimmers that didn't dim are a hassle. And those shower curtains?
